I know it wasn't your question but, if you decide to play heads-up against only a weak button limp, I think you should play it differently PF. I would raise PF more often from the BB in this situation with A6 than I would c/r the flop. It's a marginal hand, you're out of position and the pot is small but, if you're going to try and win it, I've found PFR's bring more early folds. BB PFR's get more respect heads-up than flop c/r's, maybe because it looks like you might have a real hand. You can get limpers with worse hands than A9 to give up on the flop and regret trying to see a flop cheap. They may not for $1 or $2, but it's good practice for higher stakes. |

I read his hesitation as indecision about popping on the turn. I misread the strength of his hand, not that it mattered.
