Re: Where can I buy, GOOD and CHEAP chips.
I've been quite happy with my chips from viptrades.com.

I've noticed that too, but the shipping is more. Also, 5-Star's website continually has a sale running where you get a)free shipping, b)10% off your order, or at times c) 20% off your order.
When you factor that in, I don't think you save more than a couple bucks via "buy it now" on ebay. From what I've seen, anyway. |

Re: Where can I buy, GOOD and CHEAP chips.
yeah spinettis is great, I met the guy in person bought a set of 300 REAL paulsons fantasy chips off of him back int he day for 110. it was a great deal. I picked them up form him and saved on shipping.
to the original poster you're not gonna get "real" and cheap. its one or the other my brother. there's nothing wrong iwth the more inexpensive chips, they are nice and serve their purpose. bonanz |

Why not snag a few racks from a local casino?

Re: Where can I buy, GOOD and CHEAP chips.
I do.
They're nice if you like plastic with metal slugs in them. Seem decent enough for something that's one step up from those really cheap chips we all played with as kids. |

Re: Where can I buy, GOOD and CHEAP chips.
I'd stay away from the 11.5 chips. I personally don't like them. They're too heavy, they don't sound right when splashing the pot, all you can hear is metal when they splash the pot. From pictures they look legit and all, but in real life they're just thick plastic chips with a metal insert in them.
If I were you I'd just get the nice chips. Pokerchips.com seem pretty nice to me. You can get them for as low as .35 per chip too if you get just solid color with no edge spots, with edge spots I think its .50 per chip. |

Re: Where can I buy, GOOD and CHEAP chips.
I have a set of 500 of those. They're a tad on the heavy side at 11.5g, but for the price you can get them for they are quite nice. I did see where they now have an Ace Jack design (where the dice design is on the lip) which I think are a bit neater looking...but I digress.
They aren't real clay chips, but they are quite nice for what they are. |
