Re: Blackjack with promotion rules.
Actually, Knock-out Blackjack by Olaf Vancura is probably the best book these days for the card-counter-wannabe.

Re: Blackjack with promotion rules.
Why is that? Because the KO count doesn't have a true count conversion?
If you get this book instead of Pro BJ, you still need Blackjack Attack. It is required reading for CC's, kind of like TOP for poker players. |

Re: Blackjack with promotion rules.
I think he's saying that cause KO uses an unbalanced count which makes it easier than a balanced count like Hi-Lo or silver fox.
By the way, you don't really need to read wong's book to learn how to count. Just surf the web on counting cards, learn Basic Strategy, learn a count that works for you(I prefer Hi-Lo), learn the I18, and practice counting down a deck while being able to hold a converstation. |

[ QUOTE ]
I've heard about that .50 thing going on in indian casinos. Ridiculous. Makes the game unbeatable. [/ QUOTE ] The Indian casino I go to used to have the .50 thing, but didn't neccesarily make it unbeatable, because there was usually some nice bonuses that they gave out. However, the .50 fee would make it disasterous to play for the mininum $5 which I saw many many people do. |
