Cris -- "the Chris Berman of poker"

[/ QUOTE ]

I can just imagine Chris Berman calling a poker game, it might go something like this...

"Phil the Hellmouth is first to speak. He is raised by Scotty I-really-wanna-nguyen. TJ I-dont-know-what-youve-got-but-I-have-a-good-Cloutier quickly folds. Jennifer Please-dont-squeeze-the-Charman is thinking about it. No, she folds the hand as easily as if it were two-ply..."

Since some people have a problem with Phil Ivey being called the Tiger Woods of poker we will now refer to him as the Michael Jordan of poker. We hope this will clear things up.

If he's going to be the Steve McNair of poker that would mean that he's part of a greater trend of black poker players that are the equivalent of being much more mobile and can beat you two ways, with their feet or arm. Guess that's semibluffing? Granted this new style can be attributed to Steve Young but one thing Ivey isn't is the Steve Young of poker.

Just waiting for a drugged up Limbaugh to say that Phil Ivey isn't that good it's just the liberal media wanting a black poker player to finally succeed.
