I was just thinking. After seeing the run on Choice after word leaked that customers were late getting paid, it must have been the same as the run on banks before the government guaranteed deposits. Once people lose faith they all want their money at the same time, even if it doesn't exist all in cash.

To bad theres no fail safe way poker sites could guarantee players deposits and balances. I'd play at a new site again if they could guarantee I'd get paid. But for now, I think I'll stick to those with an established history.

It's really a shame that this is happening. I would love to buy the stock of a reputable online poker site that's just starting out. Or even an online casino for that matter.

Too bad the U.S. gov't is so anti-online gaming - preventing large U.S. corporations (that have stock) from getting in on the action.

CRYP Cryptologic stock has been performing well over the last several months. That's one way to play the online gambling boom. Do your own DD though, this is not a recommendation. UBET also seems to have turned the corner.

2 of my pokerbuddies didn't get paid yet..A couple of days the live support department said that he will be paid in 10 days, because of another transfer they are waiting for..

But, i wonder why would they pay anyway, this pokersite will not get any credit from the pokerplayers anymore. So i really think that the pokersite will close down in the near future..

I think they'll pay because they are honest people doing the best they can in a difficult situation. As far as their name being soiled for eternity, I agree. It appears that the major focus of business is now on their new skin(s).

No payment here either (about 2 weeks now I think) and Jon Comer appears to have gone AWOL too.

Doesn't look good.

Sorry about the loss, but I think it's time to write it off. Choice has no intention of paying up.
