if you had ever read any of franken's books, you'd realize how stupid that statement is

[/ QUOTE ]

More condescension. Imagine that.

I guess you forgot to mention the many stunning literary achievements of Janeane Garafaolo.

Jeez, I hope that Joey Pants guy will be on, too. His little hat and glasses ensemble might not really play all that well on radio, though.

What percentage of the listeners will believe that Martin Sheen actually IS the president? And when did he take over from Michael Douglas?

The people hired to be the talk show hosts may be good entertainers and even quite intelligent. However, to fill a 3 hour radio show 5 days a week (And to be able to verbally spar with the listeners who call in) you need to be able to back your statements up with logic and facts, not just one liners and insults.

That is so funny, I almost fell out of my chair. It's a good thing the right wing has such outstanding people as Limbaugh, Hannity, or O'Reilly, to provide us with loads of facts as opposed to one line insults.

Franken makes sense, IMO, however Janine G makes no sense. I don't quite get this one. Michael Moore would have been better.

They should have Clinton or Carter on there too.

<font color="olive">It is good to have both liberal &amp; conservative talk radio.

Now if only we could get a conservative broadcast TV network.

I'm sorry. There are no liberal network television outlets? You figure the Moral Majority in conjunction with The Reagan Foundation and The Ruby Ridge Remembrance Society are airing Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, The West Wing, The L Word, Queer as Folk, and Oprah?

Coo-coo.

See, now that is odd. Because I thought the answer was "yes," when really the answer appears to be "usually."

Sorry, guess I was out of sorts or something.

P.S. It is unsurprising to me that the above-quoted post (to which I am now responding) was your 666th.
