Re: Bad Beat with Pocket Pairs
Not sure as to how he is a "lameass fish"
He flopped a pair, and a back door straight and flush draw. No preflop agression and a non coordinated board. Calls the flop for 1 SB and picks up a flush draw. Maybe a little loose, but not a lameass fish. JW |

Re: Bad Beat with Pocket Pairs
I'm certainly glad to see this. I can sleep better now knowing I'm not the only one being sucked out on. Pacific has WAAAAAAAY too many flushes. I should've known not to play without my hat.

I really don't see a bad beat here.

Re: Bad Beat with Pocket Pairs
Hey webiggy,
Your opponent played the fine perfectly. He played the turn perfectly. I would've 3-bet you on the river. The only postflop mistake your opponent made was not punishing you as much as he should've. Your bluff bet into 4 other players on the turn is ill-advised. Check and fold. There is nothing bad beat'ish about this hand. You were possibly drawing to a 1 outer on the turn. Go whine about your supposed "bad beats" somewhere else. GoT |

Re: Bad Beat with Pocket Pairs
I think the opposite. In this hand your opponent played better than you did postflop, although he should have 3 bet you on the river.

Re: Bad Beat with Pocket Pairs
Maybe, but if you're willing to bet runner-runner with a pair of twos and a low end flush, more power to ya'...
He didn't bet. He called getting 10:1 closing the flop action. If you'd fold bottom pair, backdoor flush draw there then you need to rethink your flop game. GoT |

Re: Bad Beat with Pocket Pairs
I'm surprised no one thinks this is at least a SLIGHTLY bad beat lol. The guy played 52s in EMP....close enough. Granted, certainly not a BAD bad beat.
