Why do you play there?

[/ QUOTE ]
Personally I still have over $1000 in promobucks there which I've calculated I release at a rate of about $5/hour when playing $2/4 level or above. That is small potatoes for many people but the extra 1.25 BB/hr return is not a bad incentive for me. I will admit that lately my results in the games that I have managed to find there have been less than stellar. I don't know if I play differently because I'm playing with PB's or what but I'm barely breaking even playing there the last few months. In fact its the only site I've played in recently that I can't do at least ok on. I can't even use pokertracker to find a leak, assuming that is the cause.

I guess one reason I like playing with PB's is that playing with real dollars is somewhat stressful, particularly when I'm losing them. OTOH, I don't feel the stress when playing with PB's so it is almost like taking a break when I play there. Of course, that could account for my recent results, but I really don't think so because the one statistic I can compare to Party, % of flops seen, is pretty close on both sites.

Default Actually Lori...

The site is growing at a decent rate. the games have been running a lot more frequently and the stakes have been getting higher. although i'm sure acr values business provided by everyone, people like you lori, who used to abuse the promobuck system to make a couple hundred extra per week are very sad didn't actually support them (they supported you).

on the other hand acr still gives away a lot more than most sites on a daily basis. also, i dont know many other sites that rebate 50% of the rake to almost every single player on the site. on a very general level acr rakes only half what every other site on the net does.

now, granted acr lost a ton of players/business when they switched the promobuck system over because pathetic poker players who are incapable of making money without getting free money left and right could no longer survive there. BUT NOW, they have a customer base that doesn't rely on freebies who support a growing site that is no longer losing money. additionally, the site is linked to a very successful and rich sportsbook. i'd rather have my money on a site like acr than any other random site.

continuing to berate management who turned a poker site that lost $25,000/wk into a semi-sucessful one over the course of a couple months is just silly. stop whining that your free ride of promobucks is over and start playing winning poker.

who is lori kidding--odds are she isn't heading to another site and playing successful poker if she couldn't do it on acr.

Monkey, (very fitting by the way)

Don't know if you've been lurking for a while or what, but you have messed with the wrong poster. I don't envy the wrath that your going to feel one bit.

To keep this neutral, who is going to stake both players so we can watch the Monkey play Lori in a HU N/L $20 Tourney?

Your the idiot troll, coming on here with 8 posts to your name claiming "I love ACR more than my children!". Where did you come up with the fallacy that Lori "NEEDS" promobucks to excel at poker. I wasn't defending her you dumba$$, I was trying to give you fair warning that your flucking with the wrong player. I have seen her play and I can tell you that she doesn't "need" help to excel.

Did they make the transfer from the poker room to the sportsbook faster? It took me 3 days when I was still playing. How do they expect whales to visit regularly if the transfer is not instantaneous? Well, it sounds like you care about the room my primate friend so if they haven't done this please recommend it to them. And by the way half rake isn't worth much if there are no fish.

back and forth back and forth in the logic column...dude, how are there no fish if most of the people are living off promobucks? also, how is half the rake not worth it? no matter who you are half the rake is always relative to what you play. .50cents isn't a lot over the course of 10,000 hands at the higher stakes? .10c isn't a lot over the course of 10,000 hands at the dollar tables?

the transfer back and forth to the sportsbook takes 10min tops if you go to livechat.

you've seen her play where, what site, what stakes? send her to acr, lets see if she lasts a week at this point. always a game running nowadays that she can go broke at. keep defending someone who plays .5/1 poker and refuses to play without the bonus of $500 in promobucks per week.

You are certifiable. I've played ACR since 11/2002 and there are almost zero fish there now. There is almost no one at all there now.
