[ QUOTE ]
Absolutely agreed on the risk of a raise, but the problem here is not a bluff raise, but a value raise. Catch my drift? [/ QUOTE ] Sure, but change the river to a 9. You bet, he raises, you muck. That sucks. |

Picture a game of two players, both driving a car. Both have to drive like crazy towards eachother. The one that bails out first loses.
Do you want to play this game against a maniac? Please wait till you have a big truck next time. Then crush him. Regards |

Ah, you missed my drift. I can't muck my Q high here to a river raise. If I'm betting, I already know that I'm calling a raise from him here. I actually remember thinking that during the hand. I would not have laid this down in this instance.
soda ps - The problem with this hand is that I was so sure I had the best hand. That's why I failed to check/call the turn. I was betting for value (still not the right play). Had a guy call me with 9 high today. |

I want him to wonder if I'm playing that game with him or if I have a real hand.
If he knows it's a truck, then he might stop driving his puny little cars straight at me. soda |
