That said, I don't think that with only 5xBB, you can afford to fold hands like AQ, early position or not.

Exactly.

In my opinion, it's not that having just 5xBB makes limit like no-limit; rather, that having just 5xBB makes no-limit more like limit, in that hands that can make top-pair-good-kicker are the ones to play.

In an NL tourney with a tiny stack and AQ I'd be moving in with no qualms. With a big stack, I might raise, might limp, and might just fold.

Assuming it was a NL tourney and you have an average stack what do you do with A Q suited?
