Re: I\'m not sure which play I like better
Why would he stop then? We haven't shown much strength and he has no equity to pump anything here unless he thinks we'll fold.

Re: I\'m not sure which play I like better
true, but this guy has been on my ass the entire day. I think this is a big flaw in my game (not going for the c/r enough) and I am really trying to work on it. But I do not like a c/r here. Too much money is going to be going into a small pot with a pretty vulnerable hand and I don't know how I can call a 3bet

Re: I\'m not sure which play I like better
If you're worried about fighting over this small pot in such a marginal situation then I'd fold this on the flop and wait for a better spot. I wouldn't be so scared of a single heart here. People love to bluff these pots. Its like the board having a small pair on the flop.
You could just check/call him down here on the turn and hope to be good here, but we're likely to be playing more hands with him and if our read isn't that solid we should just fold this on the flop and make him play on our terms when we have position. |

Re: I\'m not sure which play I like better
Check-folding the flop is probably not too bad, considering there are no "blanks" that can fall on the turn (ie. you either hit again on the turn or you are in trouble). I suspect the stop-and-go, folding if you get raised again on the turn, is stronger.
