Since no overs came I think that JJ-88 is calling us here, so the valuebet works. If he had the flush hed probably lead that flop.

i've found the most success value-betting like 3/4 of the pot when checked-to on the river. it's gorgeous. here, i've been firing like $18 and reaping a lot of calls.
maybe just a long streak. is 15 better? i dont know, maybe stupid villains think 18 looks more desperate to buy the pot than 15. discuss JChap! 31415 Table! |

I reraise the flop to about the size of the pot and 1/2 pot the turn. Big suited cards play this way as well as a low overpair (if the flop alone is considered).
As played I'm 1/2 potting the turn. River value bet is good. No way did he tries for a river checkraise with a made flush after the turn got checked through. |
