Re: AQ OOP on the turn
I agree that check raising is a disaster. I would never do that.
You think 8-x is the only hand villian might possibly after calling the C-bet? |

Re: AQ OOP on the turn
[ QUOTE ]
I like between 1/2 and 2/3 of the pot for my c-bets. Should I be going bigger or just go home? [/ QUOTE ] 2/3 to pot on my continuation bets. In this instance, IF I chose to c-bet (rarely would I), it would be pot because I don't want anybody coming along for fun with hearts. |

Re: AQ OOP on the turn
For myself, I will make 'continuation bets' of either half pot or full pot depending on the texture of the board. If it is draw heavy I will bet the flop pot; if it is not I will bet half the pot, regardless of my holding.

Check the flop. [/ QUOTE ] Gross. I rather do with with some outs. We have A high, but it probably is the best hand. I bet 1-1.50. |

Re: AQ OOP on the turn
I don't think hitting at A or Q is the only way to win this hand.

So what do you do as played?

Re: AQ OOP on the turn
I generally fire a second bullet when the K hits the turn. The flop looks like it probably didn't hit you, but that turn easily did.
