I agree that check raising is a disaster. I would never do that.

You think 8-x is the only hand villian might possibly after calling the C-bet?

2/3 to pot on my continuation bets. In this instance, IF I chose to c-bet (rarely would I), it would be pot because I don't want anybody coming along for fun with hearts.

For myself, I will make 'continuation bets' of either half pot or full pot depending on the texture of the board. If it is draw heavy I will bet the flop pot; if it is not I will bet half the pot, regardless of my holding.

Gross. I rather do with with some outs. We have A high, but it probably is the best hand. I bet 1-1.50.

I generally fire a second bullet when the K hits the turn. The flop looks like it probably didn't hit you, but that turn easily did.
