Sit left of the money...money flows left. Otherwise, left of the LAGs. I don't mind sitting to the right of TAGs. Or, sit on the left of the best player at the table.

You want tight players on your left because when you raise & a tight player's behind you ,he will fold on a close decision & that's what you want him to do.If a loose player is behind you,your raise will change him from making a bad call into making a correct fold,& that's what you don't want him to do.
