Re: Utilyzing the overbet (somewhat LC)
[ QUOTE ]
I like your line a lot. It reminds me I think It was Strassa point that most 2+2ers raise with Overbet with just the nutz. I think this is a start but read that post, i tried to look for it, it was a good one and look for other spots to utilize overbetting.... [/ QUOTE ] Well I'm obviously overbetting any flush here. |

Why not 100 on the turn?

Re: Utilyzing the overbet (somewhat LC)
NH, must be nice to flop the nuts wit your image. This is an easy play to make though I think (because I do it too )
Same thing here Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx SB ($98.13) BB ($53.65) UTG ($59.81) MP ($39.75) Hero ($53.90) Button ($29.45) Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. 2 folds</font>, Hero raises to $2</font>, 1 fold</font>, SB (poster) calls $1.75, 1 fold</font>. Flop: ($4.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)</font> SB bets $4</font>, Hero raises to $8</font>, SB calls $4. Turn: ($20.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)</font> SB checks, Hero checks. River: ($20.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)</font> SB bets $8</font>, Hero calls $43.90 (All-In), SB calls $35.90. Final Pot: $108.30 Edit:didn't realize this is a PSR by me but you get the point OT but I've been trying to read your posts and see how you handle your image when you've got marginal holding. I play semi-lag and switch it up with tight bc I don't know if I can handle being played back at on the majority of my hands |

When a good player overbets a hand in a place without major draws, they have what they believe to be a huge hand. A good player won't lay such terrible odds on a bluff overbet. |

Re: Utilyzing the overbet (somewhat LC)
That's not an overbet. And xorbie, if you're going to let him buy in for 800 maybe you shouldn't call it "NL400". Try 2/4 NL. That whole NL400 thing is kinda retarded anyways, even though I use it too because Party and skins say it, but it doesn't really mean anything. It is just 2/4 NL with some stupid little min buyin and 400 max buy.
