Thank you. This is what I was really asking. I wasn't asking why one shouldn't do it, because that is obvious. I was trying to figure out if a person decided to take this route what would the best course of action be.

just play NL200 with a $2000 bankroll. if you truly are "an above average NLHE player at $200 max" then just play with 10 buyins. Sure your RoR is higher than optimal, but it's much less than putting your whole roll on the line against some mad russian (or some PP2k donk for that matter).

First off, that is absurd and do not do it. This type of mindset will flush your bankroll down the toilet.
Secondly, whenver you are playing poker, I would recommend to switch up your style so you are unpredictable. You don't want to be making the same moves where everyone can get a read on you. Finally, if you feel overmatched, why are you playing in thos stakes anyways? |
