Check the turn.

Keeps the pot down, and you'll absolutely throw up if you get raised (like here). I wouldn't worry so much about the free card because the vast majority of the time he's not drawing at this point. Leading the turn just gives him all the information in the world. I'd like a lead a lot more with TT or air.

If he bets I probably call and block the river.

Pretty easy fold imo, but Its not a fun spot to be in and I use to call down here a little to often in the battle.

I check/call turn and block river next time.

Here I called and river went check check. He had A10 and mhig.

Meh.. this is a tough spot epecially against a short stack. I usually bet and call an allfrom a short stack and check fold to a big stack.. the are so many hands that are beating you or have outs on the river. Close your eyes and hope he has KQ... I guess?

I really think that's not the best line, for a reason viffer brought up a while back about a hand I posted against him. the problem with it is you're getting enough in the pot by check calling the turn and then blocking to make it really worth stealing for him, and plenty of times on the river he may realize his AT or whatever is no good but that you hate a big raise.

Which is why I think block bets are a joke and overrated. I always feel like I'm gonna get raised whenever I make one. Yeah I said I'd use one next time but I donnu know what else to do really.

How about call turn, check and fold if he pushes? meh.

results aside, I think folding to the turn raise is pretty much the play. I don't think you are good here very often, and the times that you are it is pretty tough to get to a showdown with these stacks.

It really amazes me how well blockers work against the avg 1k/2k player.
I think they are pretty bad myself.

I like them against weak, straightforward fishy callingstation players and as bluff raise inducers.
