Re: Another Leak?
why is folding the flop bad? I think it's close between raising and folding but I favor folding in this relatively small pot.

Re: Another Leak?
I think 8.5-1 on the flop is enough to call since a donk bet generally means a weaker hand than a checkraise hand.
Plus, with KQ your less likely to be reverse dominated on the flop. |

why is folding the flop bad? [/ QUOTE ] 1) There is a chance you have the best hand. 2) You are getting 8.5 to 1 with possibly six clean K and Q outs. 3) b/d flush draw. |

Re: Another Leak?
Raising flop is good considering opponent could really be betting anything here. Plus you have the back door draw. Take the free card and fold the river. And yes this would qualify as a leak in your game against the average 24 player.

Re: Another Leak?
right, possibly 6 outs but these must be discounted. I'm giving this hand about 4.5-5.5 outs and given that the pot is smallish it's a though decision between folding raising or calling.
were there no BDFD I think it's an easy fold. |

Re: Another Leak?
Fold the river. The crying call is a leak I share with you my man...
It's also possible in all this that villain is trying to check-pop us on the turn given the lead out on the flop. Probably some beauty exotic two pair like K3s that filled up on the turn LOL. |

Re: Another Leak?
Yeah, like play except your self-stated leak of calling on river. He might have only an Ax suited but when you checked behind on turn with that board he figured his A would at least get half of pot. ( and of course, has you beat)

Re: Another Leak?

...he's not that aggressive. [/ QUOTE ] An AF of 1 is much more aggressive than you may think given his 40% VPIP. 18/x/1 would be very passive but 40/x/1 is average maybe even a little aggro. If this guy is the standard 2/4, 40/9/1 donk I know from party his river AF is much higher than his flop or turn AF. These hands are never pretty. After your turn check your hand is obvious. Any decent player will know you have two, big, unpaired cards. And many of them will bet every river as a result. With A-high this is an easy call, but K-high is pretty ugly. |
