YTD 7-4 (2-0 today), GS won outright and Lakers won and barely covered.

Yes, Sonics +7, Sac +7.5 and Utah +8.5 road dogs for Wednesday. I should advise that the Sonics line may move in the other direction now, so if you want to play them you should maybe wait for a better price then I got this afternoon. I like taking over 6 points in spots like this where teams have a decent chance of winning outright, I especially like 8.5 pts in a Utah/NJ game that should be low scoring.

Add NY +1.5, I was leaning this way, and have received some good confirmation on the strength of this play due to Portland being such a weak team.

Do you think the line will move in favor for us on NY since they're 0-3 and ppl will probably place bets on portland, thus giving us a better line?

I don't think so. I think the public understands how bad Portland is and that L. Brown will inevitably make New York a better team.

What do you think of the Lakers as +5.5 against the Twolves. The Wolves arent particularly strong, and LA has been pretty decent this year and always seems to play up to the level of their competition.

I am staying away from that one. I see the Wolves as being equal or slightly better then the Lakers. Give the Wolves about 3 pts for being at home and 1 pt because L.A just played yesterday. I would play L.A at +7, but not at +5.5.

I would be interested in hearing your rationale for this. I don't like the Wolves at all. Weaknesses at PG, SG, and C. Of course a monster at PF. The Lakers' starting 5 seems more solid in my opinion, albeit certainly with question marks. I don't like the Lakers' bench; Minnesota's might be better.

The only reason I would consider not taking the Lakers tonight is that they played last night in Atlanta.

Early play for Thursday: L.A Clippers -3 over Atlanta

I know, I know. I got burnt playing Seattle and Sacramento before their game the day before. I will now be more cautious in making early plays. This one however will not move in the other direction, even if half the Clipper team winds up with the flu.

Personally, I like the ATL ML in that game.

It will be the CLippers 3rd game in 4 nights, all on the road. ATL actually outplayed the Lakers in the first half yesterday IMO.
