I think position is more and more important the more and more I play. My biggest problem with calling here preflop is that you're out of position. Even if you know you're a better player, and you KNOW you can out play villain post flop by getting away if your beaten and getting more value when your ahead, there just isn't any reason to even the playing field with the bad guys by playing easily dominated hands in raised pots out of position. I guess I'm more worried about position than just the cards in this case. Although, I'm a lot tighter than you probably are. Full ring I'm about ~17% V$PIP, and I don't like playing KQo or KJo at all unless its folded to me on the button or in the SB, in which case I'll raise in order to steal the blinds (which puts me out of position if I'm in the SB, but I'm trying to steal, and I'll often try to steal with any semi-decent hand at all).

If he raised a little more I would tighten up to QQ+ and AK. If someone is too tight then lemme know. Hehe, I'm a little looser than that. Actually, I'm a LOT looser than that, around 22 VPIP. I usually don't coldcall raises period unless I'm around the button with a big stack, but figured I'd make an exception with this guy.
As far as the comment I read about not being able to get away from KTo...I'm not playing this hand for it's TP value. Against this particular opponent, I'm looking for something like 2pair or a straight; which I was fortunate enough to get. I can easily throw away Top pair here because I wasn't interested in the pot. But, I'll definitely be throwing this away in the future OOP I guess...there isn't much to gain here but a headache.
