Ok what is the villians likely hands here?
And ace would check and call
A King would bet
a busted flush draw might do either

Isn't it more likely he has a busted flush draw here? at least mroe often than 7.5-1?

For what it's worth, I raised and he folded, but looking back I think it's a terrible play. If he folded I most likely had him beat anyway right?

you beat busted flush draws and pocket pairs less than yours that bet out of desperation. getting 8.75-1 this is worth a call.

Like CDC mentions, Villain is also going to have a counterfeited pocket pair sometimes. A busted flush draw isn't the only hand you could have beat. (And you don't have all busted flush draws beat.)

In my opinion, Villain will in fact sometimes fold a naked ace to your raise. But I think it's more likely he folded a hand like 44. (I suspect that with a hand like A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], he would have check-called.)

I like the way you played this hand on all streets. Looks pretty standard. I might fold if the turn is raised. And I think you have to make a crying fold on this river.
