IMO this is a straightforward call having checked, but I think the most interesting decision is whether or not we should lead the flop.

I am betting this flop. And the way you played it you have to call the flop bet. You can easily have the best hand here and a lot of outs to improve (a heart on the turn might be good for you)

...if the K hit the turn, you would have 7 clean outs (K, 3 J's and 3 10's) and 3-5 dirty outs (A's and Q's) to redraw for a boat. [/ QUOTE ] Why are the aces and queens dirty? Hero was the only preflop raiser, so I don't think you can reliably put anybody on 2 broadway cards. |

so, everybody agrees with the check on the flop?
We have only 3 opponents and a lot of outs to improve if behind. Why not bet if we are going to call? We might clear some outs here and a chance to fold Ax (although very unlikely) |

That is also why a bet is risky. This flop could have hit anyone hard. It has flush and straight draws all over it. It could get raised, checkraised, and/or capped. We might be drawing slim or dead. Don't know yet. |
