The scene with Gene Hackman is still one of my all-time favorites. The look on Peter Boyle's face when he sees he's on fire...

He's been around for years. In his later years, he's gotten a bit typecast but he showed a lot of range in his early stuff.

Check The Friends of Eddie Coyle. I love that movie. Him and Mitchum.

Young Frankenstein was great too. So many good moments, and Gene Wilder was so damn great back then. What a great comedic actor.

I think one of my favorite moments was when he finally truly becomes his father's son -- a madman -- and his face lights up as lightning flashes, to reveal a painting right behind him with the exact same crazed expression.

And Igor was a stone gas, brotha.

Madeleine Khan was really good too.

And another one of my favorite lines: "He's going to be very popular."

Just kidding, it was pretty good. I love Gene Wilder, his delivery is [censored] perfect. Best part was the song and dance that the Dr. and Frankenstein did. Frankenstein singing almost made me cry.

Same here! Marty Feldman as Igor is out of this world. e.g.

[/ QUOTE ]

Remember when Igo says to Dr. Frankenstein "Walk this way..." and he just follows. Igor meant walk stooped over with a shuffle step

Anyway, that scene inspired Aeosmith's song "Walk This Way".

And now you know...

the rest
of the
story!
