O.K. and I agree that your hand has increased equity as the number of opponents decreases. But posts above are stating that vs. 9 unknown opponents - raising should be the standard? Are you serious?

Personally I feel that this raise becomes standard vs. about 3 or 4 unknown limpers. Anything above that as a standard is pushing it… especially on-line where there is no physical presence / awareness factored into later decisions.

You're hitting your sit a little worse than 1 in 8, and you'll get paid off big when you hit...plus the times that you flop favorably without a set.

The times that you flop favorably without a set may as well be compared to when you have TXo in the BB and flop top pair no kicker out of position vs. 9 opponents. You like your hand?

What if only one player calls? Two? For example, what if UTG raises and everyone else has folded what do you do in the BB? What if UTG raises, Button calls, SB folds, what do you do?

Raise and no.

the current poll results make me happy to be a part of this forum

To be fair- the results might be the same if the poll suggested we held a single Ten and the other card just listed the rules and hand rankings.

bad analogy. in the situation you contrived you are very often dominated and outkicked, and will often lose big with the second best hand. while TT on a 9 high flop is very weak ten handed, it is usually easier to know where you are at in the hand leading to higher implied odds situations.

No

Generally speaking....
Either you have 2 outs in the TT overpair hand, or you have 3 or 5 outs in the TXo hand (unraised pot) when you get a lot of action. Drawing dead / slimmer than that is virtually equally likely in either scenario.
