Because I don't think your ahead.

I think you're ahead of CO way more often than you're behind him.

I agree. CO likely had Kings or the like.

Getting 25-1 I'm folding this almost never.

[/ QUOTE ]

How often is Hero ahead of both MP2 and CO? It takes a much stronger hand to overcall the river than it does to call HU. And while I can construct scenarios where Hero is good here, I don't think it happens often enough to justify the overcall.

The way the hand played out I don't think overcalling really affects my decision too much here. I put CO squarely on 99-AA so I'm only worried about MP2.

The way the hand played out I personally am not too worried about the overcall from CO.

Meh....I agree, it looks like CO has another overpair. A set is possible, too.

I just seriously doubt that Shant is good 1 in 25 times, between the two of them.

Yeah I change my decision. I missed CO PF action. [i was eating McDonalds...Big Macs are good!]

I now like the turn, capping it is fearless, but I'm not fearless. But I definately have to call down and lose.

The problem with this, I think, is that we usually have the CO beat. He appears to me to have Kings, although he could be overplaying Queens, have the case aces, or have us beat with a set. Overcalling after someone who you're pretty sure you had beat the whole way, and who's hand is unlikely to have improved, is almost like not overcalling here. I also can't fold closing the action where I only have to be good 3.7% of the time.

I in all honesty can rarely declare any poker decision 96% sure. I wonder how you can claim this one is. I can't not call this river. I'd also probably decline to raise the turn.
