"Tight early, Agressive Late, Dont Call... Bet!"

Very little matters until level 4. If someone was looking over your shoulder for the first 25 minutes they should be saying to themselves.

"You fold that AJ !!! "

"Play SOMETHING !!"

"You are a weak tight loser"

Then level 4 and the bubble comes along and the person looking over your shoulder should be saying to themselves.

" My GOD !! You push with that ??"

"Relax you maniac !!"

"Why are THEY folding so much !!"

" He just laid down A-9 to your Q-10 !!"

Switch gears so fast that your clutch is smokin.

For as much STT forum bashing as there was after citanulgate, there seem to be a lot of serious players trying out STT's. Good luck.

advice for the 22's: Everybody's stupid except for me.
thread: Read the shadow's post. It's linked from the FAQ.

also, I can't find the Shadows post in the Faq...I may be an idiot, though.

I've found if I'm dealt a big hand early on there's no point trying to suck players in at early levels - especially when multi tabling - some idiot always outdraws you. Bet them very very hard and if you get 60 chips with your KK so be it. I tend to get stuck in stupid SB vs BB hands as well.

This might be glaringly obvious to some but it's something that's only become really apparent to me recently.

This is a disappointing truth, at least at lower levels. You will pick up a lot of antes with KK and get called when you have garbage by people with even worse garbage who draw out on you. A freaky see-saw.

But you'll also get a lot of people calling or raising your KK with a pair of jacks, or any two just because they're in the blinds, and doubling you up.

that thread is indeed great, and will be a good/great help to most players, even pretty expert players, who read it. however, it is not linked in the FAQ. the FAQ is intentionally designed to not include strategy related posts.

welcome back to sng land,
