Default So I screwed up my position, I\'m really in the SB

I think this changes things a lot. Clearly if I'm last to act I need to bet, but what if I'm first to act? If that is still a dumb question forgive me, but I thought it was interesting.

[ QUOTE ]
Hesitate, and then bet.

[/ QUOTE ]Hey Mikey, you play good, but I think with most common opponents, a noticeable hesitation means a whopper.

Bet. Now is not the time to get fancy and slow play. He may fold to a bet, but he may fold to a check now and a bet on the river anyway, so slowplaying may not make you much and i hate giving a free card with 2 to a suit on the board.

But most importantly you want to play your made hands and your weaker hands the same. You don't want him to learn that a check from position means monster and a bet with position means weakness.

I have never played that high a limit though so your mileage may vary.

I'm not trying to be rude, but you should be more worried about your read on this player, rather than the obvious turn play. I understand that you have not played many hands w/ him, but villain is not a player I would describe as solid.

Why is this hand being dealt 10 handed? I have played at Canterbury 4 or 5 times and it was always 9 handed for side games.

Thanks,

KennyBanya
