You know this might be the best Idea really the more I think about it.. I send my crew into the local casino's wearing Oklahoma-poker gear. I cover the events for the casino's, advertise for the casinos on the website. And pass out business cards at the Casino to introduce them to my website. Then let my website introduce them to the online sites. Is this a logical approach?

One of my ideas was to let players pay me directly to fund their accounts via instatransfer.

You absolutely CAN NOT do this. While I can not link you to the specifics, I *JUST* read a thread a week ago which discussed a case of the authorities charging a person who was doing just this very thing. (Might not have been 2+2) In this case, this was an affiliate who was taking money directly from players to open their account for them -- it was for an online gambling site, not poker. The authorities (don't remember if state or federal) set up a sting and when he took the money from the agent, he was arrested and charges were filed.

By doing this you are almost assuredly violating clear state and federal laws. Plus, as I have cryptically refered to (maybe someone can point you in the right direction for more detail), this is an area of "focus" for the authorities.

I am not an affiliate, so I have no experience in those matters. However -- DO NOT EVEN LET THIS IDEA CROSS YOUR MIND AGAIN.

Just my two cents.

OK so we're done with that. I won't take money and open their accounts for them

I really don't think it woud benefit me at all to be someones sub afilliate. I'm going to me driving my own traffic etc. I have the means to do it myself I've allready made the contacts and set myself up with the sites and worked out my own deals that's never been the issue.
