sweet new card mods for Party and Pstars - Page 2

Sigh. After 45 minutes of banging my head up against the wall, I give up.

Could someone please indulge me and give me some instructions for how to get this mod through the link?

I have Party on c --> Program Files --> Party Poker
Do I then save it in the images folder or do I overwrite images and rename the new file 'Images?'

I also notice that it's zipped. Okay, I don't know how to do that (unzip it) either.

I've been searching google and the software forum and n00bish things like this aren't really addressed. I know its stupid I can't do it on my own, but seriously, I know most of you could type a 30 second response that will help me out.

One last thing - will this mod also work on skins (assuming I save it in the correct place)?

Ok, what you need to do to get the images is this. Download the zip file to your desktop. Windows has an automatic utility to unzip this, otherwise you can use WinZip. Now, the easiest way to do this is to unzip the images to a folder on the desktop. I do this, just so that I can look at everything before I go replacing other images.

Once you're satisfied that all the images are right, copy all of them into the c:\program files\party poker\images\ folder. It will ask if you want to replace the existing image(s). Select 'Yes, to all' and that should do it for you. If you have a table open at the time, the images won't change until you close the table (not the actual program, just the table) and re-open it.

This is what I thought to, but today, when I switched from the grey back to the black, they were still grey on new tables and only back to black after I closed PP and reopened it. Strange?

Nice touch with the brighter card backs. I miss someone who is in a hand once in awhile. These are awesome. Thanks.
