I threw shotput and discus in high school and with a lot of training, my best discus throw was about 120 ft and a discus is considerably lighter than a guitar. I think that your best bet would be to utilize a hammer throw technique with both hands.

the discus is NOWHERE NEAR THE SHAPE OF A GUITAR. 120 feet is NOWHERE NEAR THE DISTANCE THAT AN AVERAGE PERSON COULD THROW A DISCUS. assuming that racersedge is SOMEHWAT THE AVERAGE PERSON.

I have no idea how far I could throw one. Electric or acoustic? Either way, I'd go with a hammer throw.
