1999 or 2000 Infiniti g20. You will not find a car that is more fun to drive or has better handling in this price range. Only good in stick though... [/ QUOTE ] That sounds nice, I'll look into it. I'm willing to learn to drive a stick. Oh, and here's a hot chick. |

Re: Recommend a car
Are you set on getting a brand new car? It's not adviseable, but I won't flame you for it. I'm not up on the latest used car markets, so I'll just give my standard response for new cars under $20k.
Check out the Honda Civic, the Subaru Impreza, the Mazda 3, Scion tC, and probably the Toyota Camry. Each is strong in a different area, so just go drive them all and buy the one you like the best. |

Re: Recommend a car
I've always been a fan of the chevy impala. Nice car, gets good gas mileage. You should be able to find a year old one thats basically like new for 20k or under.

Re: Recommend a car
#1 Scion TC - $16,000-$17,000
http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/scion/tc/index.html Looks nice, backseat are huge for a coupe, very reliable - Toyota. Decent performance engine wise, front wheel drive, handles decently. #2 Subaru Impreza 2.5i - $18,000-$19,000 http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/suba....html?action=1 Looks are unique (2.5i does not have a hood scoop), all wheel drive makes it more versatile, reliable - 2nd to the Scion. Decent engine performance and all wheel drive improves handling. #3 Dodge Neon SRT-4 - $21,000 MSRP but can be bought for <$20,000. http://www.edmunds.com/new/2005/dodg...rt4/index.html Performance, performance, performance. Gas mileage isn't going to be good if you floor it. It might not be as reliable, it is a dodge. But it is god damn fast. |
