Re: Misplaced Aggression?
[ QUOTE ]
I call all day w/ a deep stack. [/ QUOTE ] I thought about calling, but I did some quick math in my head, and didn't care for the size of my stack if I wiffed. |

Re: Misplaced Aggression?
I agree about the made hand, so you're even money and in that case I may not take a cf in this situation, starting to back away....

Re: Misplaced Aggression?
Yup..7:1, why play the deep stacks if you don't make some of these calls?

Re: Misplaced Aggression?
My bad. Didn't see the other limper in there. I should put the vodka away now.

What level is this? [/ QUOTE ] This was a $50+5 [ QUOTE ] I will do this though and it's not bad at all, unless he turns over KJ [/ QUOTE ] I might actually have some FE against this hand. |

Postflop Thoughts
One thing I think about in this hand, what is the better line postflop?
In this hand, against Top pair only, I'm 50/50. On the flop, there's 200 dead chips. I think this play makes more sense with a check raise, if there is not too much action in front of me. An alternate line is to lead out here, and I would think calling a raise is also correct. I just like the added potential of some FE here, especially considering the action comes from the button. How are my thoughts? |

Re: Postflop Thoughts
I think c/r is certainly the best option, especially if you are trying to get it in, then at least you have FE. If you bet out & he comes over, then you have none.

Re: Misplaced Aggression?
[ QUOTE ]
I like it. [/ QUOTE ] OK. I feel better now. It really felt good when I had two callers, both with KQo, and I improved. |
