[ QUOTE ]
The way you played it, of course one of the last guys in line is going to bet the river, and now you're stuck not knowing what to do. [/ QUOTE ] Wouldn't I be in the same position of not knowing what to do had I bet the turn and gotten 2 callers, or even 1 caller? These .5/1 guys aren't exactly the most aggresive lot and they will show me a Q here often after calling 3 streets. As it was I was happy to have a chance to showdown for 1BB. |

Well played... call the river. I would not bet the turn into 3 others. We bet the flop hoping to get this hand heads-up. 3 called on the flop... there is a very good chance that our hand is not best, and if it is, there are many ways that we can be outdrawn. Once the turn is checked around, we can feel a little more confident about our hand.
I'm not really afraid of an overcall here on the river, because I think a Q would have bet out, and an overcall could very well be a lower split pair or PP. |
