Why bet the turn in Hand 1? After picking up the NFD, I would check behind the turn. Flop play is fine, sometimes I raise there, depends on player, etc.
On the river: I guess this depends on your image. If you think its aggro enough that TPTK is good there, then call. You aren't getting terrible odds either, I probably call.

Hand 2 I also call. You may very well be ahead, and if not, you most likely have outs. Unless you are pretty damn sure you're never ahead here against this opponent, I would call.
