Well stack size matters a lot obviously, in this case he has you virtually covered and a call and loss puts you down to 140 chips, that's why his range has to be humongous unless he folds a hell of a lot. So here you shouldn't do it most times.

The restealing thing in situations simliar to this is good with a read. I would never make the play you made without a very strong read, that told me things that tigerite was discussing. The guys is getting a pretty decent price on his cash and he's already invested 1/4 of his stack. You have to have a good read for plays like this, and a very good read for this specific situation.
