Re: Tilt -- and the pocket QQ test
[ QUOTE ]
E) Take one card in each hand, hold them, face up, against your head, stand up, run around the table screaming "LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!!! LONG LIVE THE QUEEN", then sit down, place your cards face up on the table and calmly say "check". If anyone bets, repeat from the beginning, and then calmly fold. [/ QUOTE ] This is hilarious!! I'll never be able to play QQ with a straight face again. Thanks for the post. |

Re: Tilt -- and the pocket QQ test
[ QUOTE ]
If you find that you either get annoyed by playing your hand in what you know is the correct way or that you refuse to play your hand in what you know is the correct way, then it's a good idea to take a break and try again another time. [/ QUOTE ] Yes. That's the core concept. Nicely stated. I'll paste it next to my monitor. |

Re: Tilt -- and the pocket QQ test
Bet flop and turn trying to get the person with a king to fold, hoping no one has the ace. Folding to a raise all along the way.

Re: Tilt -- and the pocket QQ test
E) Consider the size of the pot, my reads on my opponents, any backdoor draws I might have, and then act accordingly.
I think that A-D all show signs of being on tilt. |
