If the place distributions check out, it's easy to figure out your ROI.

1st = 88 * $100 = $8800
2nd = 56 * $60 = $3360
3rd = 54 * $40 = $2160
_____________________________

Total Earnings: $14,320

Total Costs: -$11,000
_______________________________

Total Profit: $3320

ROI:$3320/$11000 = 30.18%
ITM: 198/500 = 39.6%

If these numbers are right, you are crushing the game. Good going. By the way, 17.6% 1sts seems really good to me. Any tips on heads up play?

No Logo,

I made a post after my first 500 $22s also, and i got some very good advice that was imminently proved correct, so i'd suggest you give it a look-see.

From the archives, retro avatars and all

BL'

EDIT: i just noticed how polar-opposite our finish distributions are

check your spreadsheet.

I think it calculated your profit as if it was the payout from the 11s. Your stats are incredible, and I am curious on your general strategy.

very nice, but....

500 games isn't alot, realise if the next 500 are at 8% ROI it doesnt mean anything, just keep learning and playing your best.

your percent for 1st is unsustanably high, it will come down some, which will effect your ROI some. Nothing wrong with that, just means you got lucky on about 10 extra coin flips.

your definately on the right track, but the problem with starting off really well is it makes dealing with the bad times harder. So, just try to play solid and not worry too much about the short term results.

I'm feeling you. I had a nice $600 downswing last night. Not a damn thing I could do. I'm just gonna fire up some more after class tonight.

I think this is what was happening. Good call.

Not doing math and blindly trusting a spreadsheet definitely makes me an idiot, but I still think there's value in "milestone" posts for players coming up through the 22s and 33s.

Poker is a lonely enterprise and it's good to get feedback from the other players on here regarding general stuff like this along with specific hands.

To clarify, the profit is definitely correct, but the ROI was being calculated as if I were playing the 11s.
