Rapunzel story
Why was Rapunzel kidnapped? Because her mom had her dad steal a sorceress' lettuce. Yes, rapunzel means lettuce. And the story is pretty anti-climactic. The sorceress takes her out of the tower and sends her into the forest when she finds out a knight has been climbing her hair, providing her silk for a ladder, and also banging her. Why he didn't just bring a ladder, I don't know.

[/ QUOTE ] I thought the story ended in Rapunzel cutting off all her hair to buy a watch band for the knight for Christmas and the knight selling his watch to buy her a hair comb.
