it think mp1 has a large pair and doesn't want to get raised on the river by possibly your slowplayed ace whilst also maybe drawing a bet from a hand that may not call a river bet

yes these were basically my thoughts. i felt like everyone was scared an ace was lurking and there was a good chance i would be value betting someone elses hand on the river.

yes these were basically my thoughts. i felt like everyone was scared an ace was lurking and there was a good chance i would be value betting someone elses hand on the river.

I like a raise on the flop better than the fold. But if anyone cold calls or 3-bets, I drop a load in my pants and get away from the hand ASAP.

With no reads I think it was played passively well, which I don't think gets enough credit in spots like this.

Raising the turn might fold higher pairs, but they might also ask themselves why you'd want to fold a worse hand from the SB if you had a big hand.

I probably fold on the flop, most of the time the preflop raiser will have Ax or a pair > 88.
