I don't mind the flop call. If he does have an ace, you've got 5.5 outs and are getting more than 7:1. That's pretty close. If he'll bet out a ten or is on a steal, easy call.

I would lean toward betting out at the flop...depending on what I've been showing the table so far.

Turn...perfect.

River...no reason to put him on a flush draw...more likely two pair or the same straight. I might not cap the river (depending on the day, wind direction, etc.) but it seems fine to me.

A few people have said this but no one has offered any explanation.

Is it purely semi bluff.
I don't see the table folding here like ever.
Is it a bet for value, if it is, I can't see it.

I play it exactly the same BUT the people who say bet the flop are MUCH better at poker than I am.

I'd like to know.

You have the best hand pretty often. You can get some better hands to fold occasionally. You have easily enough folding equity + pot equity to make this bet. It's better than check-calling by a large margin.

I disagree. You will occasionally get a semi-large field to fold to one flop bet, and it will happen most often when you were the PFR and the flop contains an A.

You do realize that it's only 3-handed, right?
