why didn't you cap the turn?

I probably should have, but I didn't. Missed value for sure but oh well...was a little gunshy perhaps.

I admit I saw the results but that doesn't change my default play here.

I want to take a crack at the slight chance I take it down, don't want to risk getting pushed off my hand or give away info by calling 2 cold. So I lead out and go from there.

There's plenty of times it's 1 more back to you, which is okay in this spot. Depending on who it is, a c/r sets up nicely. Rarely is it 2 more back to you. Leading out seems the clear play here.
