Re: My contact fell out onto the floor in a Prague metro station. . .
Also, where are you staying? Which Metro station? I use to live near the Vltavska and Nadrazi Holesovice stations on the red line (I could get off at either one and take a tram to my flat).

you didn't even wash it with tap water or anything? [/ QUOTE ] This makes it sting even worse, and probably won't do anything for you anyway. |

Had fried duck with rice, a salad, spring roll, and a pint for 190 crowns (about 8 bucks) at a restaraunt down the street last night. -SmileyEH |

Re: My contact fell out onto the floor in a Prague metro station. . .
What a weird coincidence. The last time I remember my contact lens popping out in public was in a Prague train station. I was waiting to get on a train to Cesky Budejovice, where I would transfer to get to Cesky Krumlov, the paradise destination of all time. Minutes before I was going to board my contact came out. I found it, but I also had saline solution in my backpack so I ran into the bathroom and squirted it down, and put the thing back in. It stung for a few seconds, but I was fine.

Washing them with water may make it sting when you first put it back in, but it's still a hell of a lot better than putting it in with a piece of lint stuck to it. By the way, I am the all-time master of getting my contacts folded in half and stuck up under my eyelid. |

This is the reason I choose to wear glasses 24/7. I got sick of the whole contacts routine, and then having stuff like this happen.

You are literally two doors from my old flat. I lived at 28a Delnicka, 170 00 Praha 7. The exterior of the building isn't that appealing, but all the flats inside are newly remodeled and was a steal at $150 per month. It's such a peaceful neighborhood, especially on the weekends yet incredibly close to the heart of the city. I miss Prague so much. |
