There are lots of methods to get the tables to refresh. I'm personally a fan of clicking between all levels / favorite levels (can't remember if this is exactly what it's called, but you know what I mean).

What it comes down to is you are making sure the lobby keeps focus in the foreground.

This is why I started playing SnGs on Stars in the first place. As a n00b who'd only played 1-2 limit ring games, I tried to get on a play money SnG on Party to get a feel for how they work and it is IMPOSSIBLE. I gave up after something like 50 consecutive attempts to join an empty table the MICROSECOND it appears when the tables refresh.

You'd think they could update their software and add a "just put me in the next one" button.

Kind of what I was looking for. Also something that would produce a lot more revenue for them--people would actually be playing the games instead of trying to get into one.
