Re: Weak-tight AJs hand.
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] to OP: really if you're calling that flop, the turn hasn't changed anything at this point. [/ QUOTE ] Are you saying nothing has changed and we should fold, or are you saying nothing has changed and should continue to call down? [/ QUOTE ] we overcalled on the flop figuring our 2nd pair is best. that hasn't changed on the turn. but if we now fear the King, we should have folded the flop. so i guess i'm saying we should continue to call down based on our flop decision. [/ QUOTE ] I'm calling the flop because we have middle pair and villian could just be on a CB. But once he bets the turn we have to give this up no? I can't see villian whiffing and firing at this pot again with a K and a J on the board and 2 callers(unless he's an idiot or has big PP like QQ TT etc...) |

Re: Weak-tight AJs hand.
i'm addressing the overcall not the call of the PFR's bet. and no reads were mentioned, so MP could be betting an 8, another pocket pair (ie 99), weaker J or SD for all we know being last to act.
i did think about c/r here to fold the PFR incase of QQ or AQ and buy some outs, but w/o actually counting up the pot, it seems pretty small to try this. |
