Great hour. AT in BB, flop AT5, I bet out, a limper pushes with A5. He gone. Next hand in SB A4, flop comes down 235 and I pick up even more chips. 3900 right now.

Just got caught in set over set. Down to 690

Alright i just got knocked out of the party 500k... I started this hand with 2000 chips blinds 15-30. A loose player had called my 5x BB raise w/ AQ. Flop comes Q 9 8 two diamonds. He min bets 60 into me I reraise to about 400 (a little over pot sized) he calls. Turn 10h. He bets 100 I reraise to 900 thinking he is on a draw and I'm going to give him poor odds, he calls. River is a J putting 4 to a straight on the board. He puts me all in and I, having only 500, left call. He flips over K10d and takes the huge pot. Now I know my flop and turn plays were correct. Because even though he had a monster draw on the turn he wasn't getting nearly enough odds too call. What I was wondering was can I get away from that hand on the river w/ only 500 chips left. I knew I was almost definetly beat, but i was getting nearly 9 to 1 on my call and I didn't see the point in being crippled... Advice?
P.S. Sorry I didnt do the hand history converter, I'm playing multiple tourneys and don't have time to go through poker tracker cause it freezes up my computer.

The flatter pay-out structure was implemented a few months ago I believe.

I'm not thrilled with it.

Last week I was being an idiot in the chat-box and counting-down the number of places to go before winning 'another whole $10!!!!' and the pressure that we were all feeling (pay-out goes from $250 to $260 from 400th place to 320th place this week for example).


Eventually I got bored of doing that and it no longer applied anyway as I finished 44th for $1300.


I qualified for this one in a single-table sat just 2 minutes before it started.
But I have a whopping 960 left and am just trying to hang-in there and hopefully get some cards soon.
