Everyone knows. Few take advantage of it because it sucks hard in every other possible way. You can also only play one table at a time.
Everyone knows, few don't bother to spend the time. |

If he puts me in on the river, I'm going to call anyway. So what's with all the pussyfooting.
I don't think he's going to bluff back at me with just a pair. Not the way these guys play. There were three possible holdings in my mind: A stubborn [censored] with KK or QQ (they would do this). AK AQ AJs outside chance (in 6-max people playback at LP raisers sometimes if they don't give them cred) If they really plan on folding KK or QQ to another bet, then might as well not give them another chance to hit a set. I would have folded preflop if the other donkey hadn't have come along. He would go to the river with Ax if I kept betting him. Plus, even if I was up against a PP he made the odds on calling better. |

No. They only recently opened 600NL 3 months ago. It is also the best game, much softer then the lower limits even in terms of Avg Pot/BB.
There are usually only one or two good tables going at a time. They will get good for 30min-2hours. Then the dozen or so regulars like myself move in and by the end its a table of just us. Then things will die down for awhile until a few new fish move in and things go absolutely crazy for awhile again. Such is the ebb and flow. Things aren't as good as when they first opened the 600NL tables up. When it first happened you could find a $300 avg pot anytime you logged on. Those days are gone. But you still find tables like that sometimes. When I was playing just now it was $230 avg pot with none of the usual regulars. Villian in this hand was new blood. |

Before the $600NL opened up they were rediculous. $100-140 avg pot all the time.
You could raise to $14 preflop and get 5 callers full ring. It was like playing at a casino. When $600NL opened up it died of though. The games are primarily driven by a few big fish. The big fish want to play the biggest game. Something similair can be seen with party. The 2000NL game is better in terms of Avg Pot/BB then some of the smaller games. |
