I've dropped 20 buy ins before over 3 or 4 days, but then again I play like an idiot sometimes, so it seems pretty normal for me. (Going on tilt isnt too much different from my normal game) It was all good though. I made it back in the next two days.

This isn't me but someone I am aquainted with who lost 50k in 1 week playing 10/20 NL. He played roughly 8 hours a day so let's say 56 hours total losing 25 buyins.

Is this up there with the worst or is this somewhat normal? Is it realistically possible to go through this kind of downswing without a chunk of it due to tilt?

If you're not sure, i.e. he's not a pro who's been earning for 10 years, I'd say to drop down after 10 buyins, certainly once you hit 15.

If he's playing shorthanded, maybe the number is 20.

Shorthanded variance at 10/20 party is rediculous for me
