I disagree, why take it down now? if you're going to do that, do it with 5,6s, not JJ, JJ playing a flop has more value.

anything and everything has some relative value in the game. Who cares whether this is done with JJ or 65s?

Raise more preflop, something like $28. I probably fold on the flop to his min-raise.

because JJ has a lot more value heads up then 5,6s. Also it's LOADS easier to play. your comment makes no sense.

Do you like the posters PF raise?
There's no flop in the world you can be that comfortable with that doesn't have a J on it when everybody calls that meager bet. Admittedly... I don't really mind too much when only one or two call... but when EVERYBODY calls....... |

one thing is the pot was already very big so if you are going all the way it's hard to avoid losing your stack BUT for the sake of argument i like a smaller bet on the flop. 442 is a very dry board and though JJ is scaries than like KK for instance because there are more overcards, the hands that are goingto call even a half pot bet are usualyl drawing dead. and if AQ is going to call half pot but not full pot, that's fine, let him draw to 6 outs... but it's not like if you bethalf one person with a Q, one with a K, and one with a A is going to call you because you bet half pot... likely you will just make more from medium pocket pairs and keep the pot smaller when you are beat. people have a tendency to turn up the heat with JJ on these boards but if you think about the range that is calling a smaller than pot bet, it really doesn't make any sense.
