I love music, and I would miss it if I was deaf. However, I think life would be much more enjoyable to a deaf person than a blind person.

the deaf, can still see danger coming their way i.e flying fists or a gun being waived at them; Play p*k*r in a public cardroom; enjoy the sight of a beautiful women naked; great works of art; architecture; TV w/ closed captioning.

I'm a radio junkie (NPR, talk radio etc.) believe me I would miss my hearing. I love music too, but if I had to pick I would give up my hearing over my sight, and its not even close.
