The part that really stands out is that he called the play when they were on their own 1. Most coaches would have saved the play until a safer time, but Weis made the promise and he kept the promise.

No. The bottom line is that Weis has a job not only to win football games but also to teach his players how to be men. They all learned a very good lesson that day.

it's cool that weis met with the boy and promised to call the play. i don't really care for the drama that they did it on their own 1-yard line. it's 2 points, it's not a big deal, it's a [censored] football game.

the people who are saying it is -EV are missing the point. think about how great a pregame speech that was. gives me goosebumps too.
